The Courier can either pass a Speech check claiming to be a trader, claim to be a friend of the Legion, or be let through with the Mark of Caesar. The explorer will demand to know the Courier's business if spoken to. If the Courier has a negative overall reputation (except "Sneering Punk"), the explorer will comment on how the Courier "defies the will of the mighty Caesar," and turns the entire town hostile afterward.Īdditionally, a handful of explorers can be found patrolling Cottonwood Cove, with one explorer stationed permanently at the entrance to the camp. With a positive, neutral, or "Sneering Punk" level of overall reputation, the Courier can choose to be escorted to Dead Sea, the local Legion commander, or resist the explorer and turn the entire town hostile. The interaction will be determined by the Courier's overall reputation with the Legion.
