On the other hand, sims basically use contraception by default and you actively have to make them try for baby, so the intention to get pregnant can definitely be assumed. Not saying a sim shouldn't be happy to get pregnant in that situation, but a default depressed moodlet for not being pregnant seems naive. But I think the game could also acknowledge other factors for the reaction, like if the sim is currently in university, or has very low household funds, I don't know. But I haven't tried it, because I don't usually play with sims created by the game, andwouldn't make sense for me to create a sim with the trait and then try for baby. The single biggest reason for unplanned pregnancy isnt ineffective birth control. Judging by the description of the "hates children" trait, I expect this is one where the reaction to a pregancy should in fact be negative.
